ROH Wrestling 8/22/24 – 22nd August 2024

In a highly anticipated tag team match, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard faced off against Jacoby Watts and Nick Comoroto. The bout kicked off with Parker showcasing his skills, executing an Arm Drag followed by a Snap Suplex. Subsequently, Menard swiftly joined the fray, landing a Running Bulldog. Nevertheless, Watts responded with a powerful Clothesline, while Comoroto seized control with a series of punishing Body Slams. Undeterred by the initial setback, Parker and Menard rallied, delivering a Double Suplex. Eventually, they secured the victory with a well-executed tandem finisher.

Moving on to another exciting match, MxM Collection’s Mansoor and Mason Madden battled against Fly Def’s Warren J and Zack Zilla. Mansoor began with a display of technical prowess, yet Warren J countered with a precise Dropkick. Following this, Zilla took over, landing a Clothesline, although Madden retaliated with a series of impressive Powerbombs. Despite Madden’s efforts, Zilla executed a dazzling Hurricanrana, leading Fly Def to clinch the win with a Frog Splash and a tandem maneuver on Madden.

In a singles match, EJ Nduka went head-to-head with Deonn Rusman. Nduka dominated with his powerful Body Slams and a formidable Spinebuster. Although Rusman employed agile counters, he was ultimately overpowered by Nduka’s Jackhammer, resulting in a decisive victory for Nduka.

Meanwhile, Trish Adora faced Erica Leigh, overcoming her opponent with a devastating Piledriver followed by an impactful Adora Bomb, thus securing the win. Additionally, Lio Rush managed to outlast Tony Nese with his lightning-fast Lightning Kicks and a stunning Final Hour Frog Splash.

In a Pure Rules Match, Angelico triumphed over Aaron Solo by locking in the Navarro Death Lock for the victory. Additionally, in a thrilling Six-Man Tag Team Match, Cage of Agony, comprising Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, and Toa Liona, defeated the team of Atlantis Jr., Fuego Del Sol, and Serpentico.

Finally, in the main event, an Eight-Man Tag Team Match saw Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, and The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross) face off against The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver). Rhodes and his team clinched a dramatic win with a Claw Hold, thus sealing their victory in an exhilarating match.
