This fight staring Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury was an historic moment, and the card had them in an action packed bout.

The night for the fight opened with an exciting match of Isaac Lowe and Lee McGregor in the featherweight category. Lowe applied technology in the ring in his match while McGregor played a role of hooligan. Tyson and Lewis continued to make tremendously strong punches and the fight was very polarizing for the audience. Lowe’s counterworking exposed McGregor’s stand-up and silenced his attacks, proving the good understanding of the ring by the American. Audiences cheered knowing that every round will bring spectacular performance to pave way for a remarkable event.
Super Featherweight: Rhys Edwards and his win over Peter McGrail
We witnessed another furious fight in the super featherweight class: Peter McGrail vs. Rhys Edwards. McGrail began the bout being the more active fighter and forcing Edwards to switch to his normal rhythm from the onset. Instead, Edwards who provided good responses on the scorecards with accurate jabs and some thrilling instances successfully replied. The match again proved how rich the lighter weight classes are and delivered one of the night’s best fights.
Heavyweight: Johnny Fisher vs. Dave Allen
Johnny Fisher brought his ungainly strength in to the heavyweight fight as he faced Dave Allen with stunning powerful blows. Allen was solid, being able to take hard hits and respond with one if able. Fisher won most of the rounds of the fight through the later part of the bout, something mainly on his speed and stamina. The bout reminded fans why the heavyweight division remains the centrepiece of the combat sports world.
Light Heavyweight: Daniel Lapin vs. Dylan Colin
The other exciting fight which indeed deserves a mention was the light heavy weight bout of Daniel Lapin against Dylan Colin. He demonstrated technical advantage, though Colin was trying to knock down his opponent with his aggressiveness. Lapin, who was able to switch from a defense posture to offense position effortlessly, became advantageous at some vital stages. He certainly made a great photo finish to the fight, with both fighters giving fans an exciting back and forth battle that ended with a decisive victory.

The evening ended with the final fight for the WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight title between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. In for the fight of the night, Usyk briefly stepped into the ring with high stead, holding the crowns against Fury. Fury started punching hard and threw many combinations, as Usyk attempted to clinch, while Fury tried to take him down.
Hence, Usyk was fast, clever and accurate when escaping potent punches from Fury’s side. That is how the Ukrainian champion, replied with accurate combination, and Fury began to look visibly upset . During middle rounds of the fight Fury changed his strategy, he used his jab to keep Usyk at the distance. However, Usyk was a better fit, as his footwork and endurance helped him to close the distance over and over again.
The later round of the fight was electrifying as the fighters pushed themselves to the extreme through out. Usyk was smarter and a stronger person who defeated me, but Fury was stronger and more determined with each punch in the ring. The confrontational stages were very closely fought and both men did not spare themselves to the last. The crowd came to its feet at the final bell, these two warriors put on a classic battle.

The super middleweight bout between Moses Itauma and Demsey McKean was also highlight of the night. Itauma was hounding McKean with exceptional punches and combinations that were too much for an ageing champion.
Edgar Ramirez fought in another heavyweight match, this time against Andrii Novytskyi who impressed with a clear victory. Novytskyi set the rhythm right from the start of the bout, as he kept Ramirez at the end of his jab. The match ended on a stoppage and gave a glimpse of Novytskyi’s future talents.
